Openly Gay NFL Player Michael Sam Is Cut From The St. Louis Rams, But They Might Bring Him Back!

After falling to the 249th pick in the NFL draft, people knew making a roster would be an uphill battle for Michael Sam, who is the leagues first openly gay player.

However, his skills didn’t quite live up to expectation, and the St. Louis Rams had to cut him, in favor of undrafted rookie Ethan Westbrooks.

Now, Sam is on waivers, but if no other team picks him up, the Rams would love to keep him in the organization on the practice squad!

SHOCKING..Toni Braxton Says God Gave Her Son Autism Because She Got an Abortion

Toni Braxton drops more than a few bombshells in her new memoir, but by far the most extreme is her apparent belief that God gave her 11-year-old son autism because she once had an abortion.

Braxton, who discusses a secret abortion she had in 2001 in the new book, Unbreak My Heart, writes that her guilt over the procedure was compounded by her deeply religious upbringing.

"I was suddenly faced with a choice I'd never thought I'd have to make. Amid my major misgivings about abortion, I eventually made the gut-wrenching decision… In my heart, I believed I had taken a life — an action that I thought God might one day punish me for. … My initial rage was quickly followed by another strong emotion: guilt. I knew I'd taken a life… I believed God's payback was to give my son autism."

 But she later appeared to split the blame with vaccinations, writing, "Maybe it's just a coincidence that after my son's first MMR vaccine, I began to notice changes in him."

R&B crooner Usher and his longtime girlfriend Grace Miguel, who handles his business affairs, were seen leaving a meeting at Live Nation Entertainment in Beverly Hills today. When Grace spotted the cameras she sprinted ahead of Usher, who smiled when she took off running. Usher and Grace drove off in a fully loaded, customized 4-door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, MSRP $31,000.

Michael Jace’s murdered wife testified for him during divorce from his prior abusive marriage

On Monday night, The Shield actor, Michael Jace, murdered his wife. Police sources have revealed that Michael shot his wife dead in front of their two kids, who are under 10 years old. It's also been revealed that they argued over money before the murder took place at their LA home. But the most astounding revelation since this murder is that the dead wife, April Jace, defended Michael in his divorce from his ex-wife, an ex-wife he allegedly brutally and repeatedly beat up.

TMZ reports;

Michael Jace was a violent, abusive husband who choked his wife in front of their kid … this according to legal docs from his prior divorce in 1997.

A friend of Jennifer Bitterman claims she personally witnessed Jace choking and slamming Jennifer against a wall as his 6month-old son screamed in his crib next to them.

April Jace -- who was killed by a gunshot at the hands of Michael -- got involved in Michael's messy divorce to his previous wife and defended him to the hilt ... even though there were claims of brutality. Continue.

April told the divorce judge that Michael provided a stable home for his child, though she never addressed the claims he choked and hit Jennifer Bitterman and slammed her against the wall in front of their screaming son. In fact April actually attacked Jennifer by calling her a bad mom... 

The most bone-chilling thing .... April talked about Michael's son with Jennifer, saying, "Usually at bedtime, he [Jordan, the child] prays for his mom and asks God to protect her while he's not there with her."

And this is interesting  ... April had a degree in Early Childhood/Adolescence development.

The friend says he was raging and out of control and “seeing the extent of his anger was one of the most terrifying things I have ever seen.”

The friend continues … there were multiple physical assaults on the ex-wife. Still April went ahead and married him.

Actor Michael Jace called police himself to report his wife had been shot, and he had pulled the trigger Monday night in Los Angeles… TMZ has learned.

According to law enforcement sources Jace called 911 around 8:30 PM and told police … “I shot my wife.”

We’re told Jace’s neighbors in the Hyde Park area of L.A. had reported shots fired in the home … and shortly thereafter Jace made his call to 911.

Sources tell us the actor stayed on the phone, as instructed, until LAPD arrived and found his 40-year-old wife, April Jace dead.

We’re told Jace was home alone when his wife arrived with their kids … a short time later he allegedly shot her.

Jace — best know as Detective Lowe from “The Shield” — was taken into custody, and as of 1:00 AM Tuesday … was being questioned, but had not been booked for his wife’s death.

NBA alleges Sterling-led Clippers tried to cover up scandal

companion V. Stiviano to say the Clippers owner was not responsible for the inflammatory statements about blacks after a now infamous audio recording became public, according to the NBA’s 30-page formal allegation that the league is using to try and get Sterling removed as owner.

The charges, obtained by the Los Angeles Times, said that Sterling's attempt to alter Stiviano's statements was part of an effort by Sterling — aided by his wife, Shelly, and Clippers President Andy Roeser — to evade responsibility for the recording that has enveloped the Clippers owner in controversy for nearly a month.

Boko Haram kill 17' in village attack

The Islamist group Boko Haram has been accused of killing at least 17 people in an attack on a village in north-east Nigeria, close to where hundreds of schoolgirls were seized.

It comes a day after 118 people died in a double bombing in the central city of Jos, also blamed on Boko Haram.

In the latest attack, Boko Haram fighters reportedly spent hours killing and looting in the village of Alagarno.

Alagarno is near Chibok, from where the schoolgirls were abducted last month.

The abductions of more than 200 girls caused international outrage and prompted foreign powers to send military advisers to assist Nigeria's army.

People in north-east Nigeria are extremely vulnerable to attacks because many areas are no-go zones for the military and the insurgents operate freely, correspondents say.
