At least 60 people are confirmed dead and dozens injured in “highly coordinated” terrorist attacks in Paris, France on Friday. BBC journalist said he saw 10 bodies in the street outside the Petit Cambodge restaurant, where a gunman opened fire on diners. He said the victims are dead and wounded.
“There were a lot of dead people… it was horrific,” eyewitness Ben Grant tells the BBC.
French media says at least 15 were killed in explosions at the Bataclan arts centre. Explosions were also reported outside a bar near the Stade de France.
Counter terrorism experts has put the city on heightened alert out of an abundance of caution. President Obama will make a statement about the Paris attacks.
